What to do if your Pet is Experiencing an Emergency.
1. If you pet is experiencing an immediate emergency and Murray Hill Pet Hospital is open.
a. Of course we want you to come right in, if you can call us first that would be best so we can prepare for your arrival.
b. If there is a veterinary hospital closer to you and your pet needs medical attention immediately than it would be fine for you to go to the nearest veterinary hospital.
2. If your pet is experiencing an immediate emergency and Murray Hill Pet Hospital is closed. There are three veterinary emergency and referral hospitals that you can choose from if your pet has an emergency after Murray Hill Pet Hospital hours.

If you have a question for Dr. Dan or another veterinarian at Murray Hill Pet Hospital and it is after hours you may call the main number 212-685-2857 and leave a message under Dr. Dan's mailbox. Dr. Dan should get a text message after you leave your message and he will call you as soon as he gets the message. If you do not hear back from him in 30 minutes try again. If it is emergency than go to one of the mentioned emergency hospitals.
