I am a native of the south shore of Long Island, my interest in the veterinary field started in my young teenage years. I began working in the veterinary field as a kennel/veterinary assistant and veterinary technician for various small animal hospitals on Long Island, most notably Long Island Veterinary Specialist in Plainview Long Island. I also have a fair amount of experience and fond memories working with horses on Long Island and New Jersey. My undergraduate education was completed at SUNY Stony Brook University where a graduated Magna Cum Lauda with a BS in Biology. My veterinary education was completed at the prestigious Cornell University (GO BIG RED!!!) I took over Murray Hill Pet Hospital in 2004 and we have made many friends since that time. Dr. Dan holds memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Assoication, New York State Veterinary Medical Society, Veterinary Medial association of New York City, New York Veterinary Emergency Response Team and Veterinary Information Network. I currently live with 3 dogs, two Great Danes named Layla and Marley, a Pit Bull mix named Haley, and two cats Barney and Dexter. My two legged family consits of my wife Stacey and two sons, Lucas and Ryan.
