Dr. Daniel Lauridia DVM

A native of the South Shore of Long Island, my interest in the Veterinary field started in my teenage years. I worked as a kennel worker, veterinary assistant and veterinary technician for various small animal hospitals on Long Island. The hospitals ranged from general animal hospitals to specialty referral hospitals, most notably Long Island Veterinary Specialist in Plainview Long Island. I also have a fair amount of experience and fond memories working with horses at New Jersey Equine Clinic, Mid-Atlantic Equine Clinic and Equine Veterinary Services of Long Island.

My undergraduate work was completed at Stony Brook University. I graduated Magna Cum Laudi with a BS in Biology. My Veterinary course work was completed at Cornell University (GO BIG RED!!!) in Ithaca, New York.

I currently have three animals, an American Staffordshire Terrier named Haley, and two cats named Dopey and Barney. On the human side, I have a beautiful wife named Stacey, and two sons named Lucas and Ryan.

After graduating from Cornell I accepted a veterinary position with North Shore Veterinary Hospital in Northport, Long Island. I worked for that hospital for approximately 2 years. I was offered an opportunity to take over Murray Hill Animal Hospital from Dr. Alfred Grossman in April, 2004. I accepted the offer and took over officially in June 2004. The hospital was renamed Murray Hill Pet Hospital at that time.

Dr. Daniel Lauridia holds memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Society, Veterinary Medical Association of New York City, New York City Veterinary Emergency Response Team. Member of VIN (Veterinary Information Network), Member of the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association.

Dr. Cary Nulton, DVM

Cary joined our staff in October of 2006, having practiced in Manhattan for the past 10 years. She earned her B.A. in biology from Smith College after which she worked at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital as an I.C.U. nurse, cardiology technician, and clinic supervisor. She then attended Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) graduating 4th in her class, earning a DVM degree. She returned to Angell to complete a one-year internship in medicine and surgery. It was during her one-year cardiology residency at the Animal Medical Center that she fell in love with New York.

Her family includes her husband (Jamie), 3 cats (Butter, Scucci, and Cubby), and a little brown dog named Betty. Needless to say, the cats rule the house (much to Betty's dismay). Outside interests include cooking and ballroom dancing with her husband.

Cary's career began at the MSPCA in Boston, and she continues to be dedicated to her volunteer work for rescue organizations and animal shelters. She has written several articles for the Mayor's Alliance newsletter and regularly contributes her time at their adoption events.

She is also a member of VIN (Veterinary Information Network) and an active participant in her continuing education.
